I tried to open CLiP Paint Lab today and it did something weird and gave me an error. I think it said something about the trial ending. I re-downloaded it and it was fine again, but if my understanding is correct, I only have until the 8th of December to play with it (?)

Does anyone know where I can find a replacement? I.e. something similar to SAI for Mac that works with tablet pressure, or photoshop for mac that I don’t have to pay for…? I tried GIMP and I hate it. In fact, the lineart for this was drawn in GIMP and i lost the will to finish it because the program was so unintuitive. I coloured and re-inked it in CLiP after I redownloaded and now I feel demotivated so I won’t finish this picture..

As for the content of this ugly WIP, I haven’t yet watched the movie of Les Amitiés Particulières, so I decided to make up 70s shoujo manga-esque designs based on the book which I finished reading on Thursday night. (I actually designed all the more memorable characters on paper. I will scan it later and regret nothing.) It was fabulously tragic. If only it were more widely available, I would tell people to read it. In the meantime, I uploaded the movie here as a reward for people who read that entire wall of text.
